Baseball AU: rainbow tour
[cont from here]
Miyagi is nice.
It isn't as thought Reo has never spent time outside a city before, so he knew in general terms what to expect, and this is pretty much it. It's quieter, the air tastes different, and the scenery is far more attractive. Those are all qualities of which Reo approves, and for a vacation spot, would find ideal.
Still, he can't help but evaluate his surroundings more critically than he would if he were on vacation. He might well end up voluntarily living here for months at a time over the next two years, after all.
So. Miyagi is nice.
And that's all the thought he needs to give it for now, as he's arrived a few minutes early for his tour. Karasuno's campus is miniscule compared to what Rakuzan was, but that was only to be expected, and he finds that he likes the looks of it. Rakuzan had an air of grandeur to maintain, deliberately designed to draw in the right sort of people and intimidate the wrong sort; Karasuno is more inviting, small and clean and ready for any students who happen to find themselves on its grounds.
Reo likes that a lot. Whatever negatives about Karasuno he encounters today, he doesn't think he's going to find them in the school itself.
