[ look mei didn't do this on purpose. let's make that very clear! it's not that he doesn't know how to do his own laundry.

...it's totally that he doesn't know how to do his own laundry.

there are a few tasks in his life that have always fallen to other people. cooking, cleaning, these are all things that as the cute and precious youngest child, mei never really had to do. he's always been spoiled, and his time away at inajitsu hadn't changed that much. mei tends to be the "wait until masa-san's doing laundry and sneak in your clothes when he's not looking" type most days, but he'd decided he was tired of waiting and lo and behold, had poured in entirely too much detergent and found himself up on the machine to get out of the half-inch deep puddle. mei'd been sitting there, kicking his feet and considering exactly what to do--he can't just call masa-san and admit it, or carlos, or shirakawa, everyone will laugh at him--but it's as he's considering this that the door opens. ]

Masa-sa-- [ the look shuts him up for a brief second, but then he turns around, and mei whines. ] Masa-saaaaaaaaan! Hey! Don't leave!!
